Tuesday Morning Sketches #15

Good Morning! Before we get to the sketch I want to, first off, thank everyone who stopped by the party last week to celebrate Theresa's birthdays. Next I'd like to thank Sheri for being such a wonderful Guest Designer last month. She is the bomb!

This week's challenge is sponsored by Say it with Stamps by Jen - a fabulous word artist! So let's get right to the challenge. The sketch:

And let's see what the Design Team did...

First up we have Joni's card featuring an adorable new character in the Inktegrity collection. Let me introduce to you Ricky. Super cute!! She featured Jen's sentiment that couldn't be more perfect!

Next up is Shelly with a very different take on the sketch. No triangles here. Goblins, ghouls and creepy things took that element and created a Spooky-riffic card!

Here's Theresa's card and this is the coolest image! I love how the stem is made up by the sentiment. Great card, great colors!

This is Tammy's card and it's such a great guy card. She paper pieced his hat and pants with paper from TAC, the image is from The Greeting Farm.

And finally my card. I AM SO EXCITED!! The sentiment is part of Jen's current release. And I do have to apologize to Jen, she sent me the collection to share images with the design team and I got so busy that I wasn't able to and I'd already had most of the cards. But! Here's why I am so excited. I was actually able to emboss!! Heat embossing. Yessiree!! I printed the sentiment out on glossy cardstock and then I piled on the clear embossing powder and heated. I literally squealed when I saw that it worked. Then I tried another technique that I feel I need way more practice with but it still looks rather neat. I took a baby wipe and added a drop of several colors and then drug it across the cardstock. Then I added the silhouette flowers using a stamp from a Unity KOM, Memento Tuxedo Black and embossed it. Cool huh?!

OK - it's your turn! When you're ready link up in Mr. Linky and leave us comment. I can't wait to see what you come up with!
