Tuesday Morning Sketches #63

Good Morning!  Are you ready for a really fun challenge?  This is another one that I've been really excited to have.  Since it just happens to be October, we all know that many yummy treats start gracing our waistlines and hips beginning the end of this month.  So with that in mind the title of our challenge this week is....

Trick or Treat, smell my feet.  Give me something good to eat!

LOL  My sisters and I used to say that to our Mom all the time.  We only did it because we knew it ruffled her feathers a bit and who doesn't like to pick a little fun at their mother?!  Haha!!

So this challenge is all about yummy treats and packaging.  For this challenge I want to see the food and how you dress it up.  This doesn't necessarily have to be Halloween themed.  You can, of course, but you are also free to share birthday, Thanksgiving, Christmas... whatever strikes you.

As announced yesterday, Deedee's Digis is sponsoring this week.  I want to thank Deedee for supplying my team with images to use - she's so very sweet and thoughtful.

The first treat we have is from Leanne Garner, our Featured Stamper.  Leanne won the Judged Challenge a couple of weeks ago.  The treat box she created is spooky and so much fun.  I absolutely love all the detail and hard work she put into this box!

All these yummy treats were created by Angela.  Her cupcake display looks fantastic and is making me hungry!  I love her little toppers and tag!

These sweets treats were created by Anita.  I love her coffee mug and that bat box is sooo cute!!

Jackie's Smores Kit is such a fabulous idea and what a great little treat to give a Boy Scout Leader or favorite camper.

I love gifts in a jar and this Ghosty Smores idea from Jessica is great!!  I could see giving this to a favorite teacher.  Great job Jessica!!

I love these candy apple suckers - mmm....  Theresa decorated them to give to her students that come in and read to her.  These are so darn cute and well worth the effort!

And here's mine.  I wanted to show you how easy it is, if you're short on time, to decorate an already pretty package.  I picked up a package of Ferrero Rocher candy and using the gold packaging as part of my design it was easy to cut a frame, add an adorable image and quick sentiment.  You could always embellish something like this but I didn't to purposely show you that even if don't decorate to the nines, you can still give a special package that will leave an impression.

Hollyanne will joining us again next week.

Now it's your turn!  I can't wait to see what you do with this challenge.  Remember, I not only want to see the really cool packaging you can come up with, but I want to see the treats that go with it.  When you're done, come back here and leave a direct link to your project and leave us a comment, we love hearing from you.
