Tuesday Morning Sketches #64

Good Morning friends!  I hope your week is off to a good start.  I'm in training this week and next, right now I feel like I am on information overload!  But I am thrilled that I got a schedule that works with me and my kids and that I can carpool with a new friend that lives only a mile away.  Enough about me, lets get to the challenge.

As announced yesterday, we have Bee Crafty sponsoring us this week.  I want to thank Bee for providing wonderful images to the team to use.  All are Bee Crafty images, unless otherwise noted.

Here's the sketch that we'll be working with....

This is a really fun sketch to work with.  As always, there's room for interpretation but keep all the basic elements of the sketch in your creation.  Also, I have decided that in celebration of my sister Theresa's 3rd year of being breast cancer free and it's October - there's an added twist of THINK PINK.

Here's what the team did with the sketch....

First up, I want to give a great big warm welcome back to Tammy Maxvill.  After being away for several months, I am thrilled that she's back!  Her card is wonderful, I love the bold contrasting colors.

Here's a sweet Hello card from Anita.  The soft colors are so sweet and so reminiscent of Spring.  Lovely job Anita.

This super sweet card is from Angela.  She simplified the sketch by using all straight lines and it looks fabulous!  Love all the paper piecing!!

This sweet Survivor card is from Jackie!  I love that border punch she used and the subtle debossing she did for the trellis effect.

Here's Jessica's card and I love love love the contrast of the bold pinks and black.  Everything just pops on this card!

This fabulous card is from Theresa.  She used a stamp set that is very much like a t-shirt that she has.  I am so proud of my sister that she did FIGHT LIKE A GIRL and she has 3 years under her belt to prove it!

And finally, here is my card.  My card is full of pink and hearts because I love my sister and I am so happy that she beat this nasty thing.

OK ladies, now it's your turn.  I can't wait to see what you do with this sketch and I want to feel like my eyes are filled with Pepto Bismal seeing all the pink cards.  I would also like to challenge you further to send the card you create to your mother, sister, aunt, daughter or BFF to encourage them to do self-exams and get their yearly mammograms.  Early dectection is the best defense.

Don't forget to come back here and link directly to your project and leave us a comment.  We love hearing from you.
