Here's the sketch we'll be playing with this week:
You don't have to use smiley faced flowers - that was all I could find to represent flowers or your choice of embellishment. Remember you may flip the sketch as it suits you, but please keep the basic sketch. When you post, please link back to your creation only, not your main blog page. How you do this is when you've made your blog post click on the title of the post. This will bring up only that post. Copy the URL and paste that into Mr. Linky. If you use an online gallery, please copy and paste to the direct link to that gallery. Also leave a comment that you've posted. You have until Sunday, August 9th, 7pm EST. This is a new time to allow plenty of time for our CST, MST and PST friends plenty of time to upload. I do place a comment in the comments section to close the challenge. I don't want anyone to feel that they've been left out because I wasn't clear with the guidelines.
I am so excited to show you what the Design Team made...
First we have our Featured Stamper Katie Skiff. She did a super job with the clear card, awesome color combo and such an adorable image. I giggled when I opened up the photo. Thank you Katie for joining us this week!
Next up is Joni Wilson. Joni is also on the design team for The Digi Shack and I know she'll have all the details on her personal blog about the TDS side of the challenge. The image she's using is free this week on the TDS blog - be sure to go grab that! I love how Joni flipped the sketch and her beautiful Fall colors and her amazing coloring on the apples just make me long for the cool, crispness of a sunny Autumn morning.I absolutely love this card from Theresa Winslow aka Ms. Winslow. Theresa is my sister and I guess that makes me a little biased, however, she's an extremely talented paper crafter. Her card is using a fabulous image from House Mouse and it's so my sister. She has Back to School on the brain, she's a 2nd grade teacher that has to head back very soon to set up her room and prepare to teach and mold 25+ children. Awesome job, T!!
I am so excited to introduce you to our newest design team member, although I'm pretty sure you already know her. I am thrilled to have Tammy Maxvill as part of our team and she is certainly joining in with a bang! Her card is absolutely adorable. Tammy is on the design team for a company called Nutshells and has recently completed her term as a Spring Gardner for The Greeting Farm. The image she used is from Nutshells and it certainly features some images of my favorite goodies!
I am so very excited to have our first Monthly Guest Designer. This lovely card that features a Gorjuss Gal stamp was created by Rose Frydrych. She is also on the design team for Sweet Sketch Wednesday which is another awesome sketch challenge blog.

And here's my card. Isn't this little guy cute! Oh my goodness, he makes me giggle, too. This is the baby dragon image from The Digi Shack. I colored him with prismacolor markers and I swear he'd get me to give him all the lollipops and whatever else he wanted staring into those great big brown eyes!! I used a sentiment that was created by my friend Jen - you can find her Word Art digi's here. The one I used I got special permission to use as sort of a sneak peek - it's part of a baby sentiment set that isn't released yet. Thanks Jen!!
Well, now it's your turn. Grab another cup of coffee, your favorite supplies and stamps and have some fun. I can't wait to see what you make!
