Tuesday Morning Sketches #53

Good Morning!  I have many people to thank before I get into this week's challenge.  First of all, I want to thank the very sweet people at DRS Designs for sponsoring last week.  A great big thank you to all of the sponsors that jumped into the celebration.  A big thank you to Jackie Randolph, my dear friend for being a great Guest Designer last month.  And for all the previous Guest Designers that returned to help celebrate all month long.  And to my amazing design team!  And lastly to you - without all of the readers, followers and challengers, TMS wouldn't have seen just a creative and fun year!

Are you all ready for a brand new sketch?  And a brand new sponsor?  As announced yesterday, we have Lexi of Fairy Dust Crafts (aka Lexi's Creations) joining us this week.  A big thank you to Lexi for her generosity of sharing some very adorable images with me and my team to work with this week.

So here's the sketch we'll be working with...

This sketch has easy elements - the circles can be embellishments or taken at face value.  So here's what the design team did with it...

First up we have Beverly, our August Guest Designer.  You can find Beverly's blog here.  This is the sweetest Valentines Day card - I love all the paper piecing!!

Here's Angela's card and is simply adorable in the funky pink and orange color combo.  The fairy is super cute and very glittery!!

Here's Hollyanne's sweet card.  Hollyanne was actually the one to encourage me to ask Lexi to sponsor.  Lexi has a 9 year old boy who has his own monthly challenge blog.  Hollyanne enjoys playing along with his challenges and she fell in love this sweet puppy.

Here's another all-heart-card.  This is Jessica's interpretation of the sketch and it's fabulous.  Although it can be used for Valentine's Day, this would be super cute to give to anyone any time of year to make them feel special.

And this sweet little card is from Theresa.  Her coloring and added depth is fabulous and I love her interpretation of circles - I love the different shapes.

And here's my card.  I really love how the contrast of the soft pink and bold blue looks!  My sister, with her card, reminded me how fun felt flowers are and you know me... I love the polka dots!

Now it's your turn.  Go have fun with this sketch and then come back here and link it up.  Remember to link it directly to your blog post or online gallery.  And please, leave us a comment.  We love hearing from you.

  1. The DT cards are so helpful. I was wondering what to do with the three egg shapes but now I have some alternate ideas. Great designs everyone!
