Tuesday Morning Sketches #55

Good Morning!  I hope everyone's Monday was a good one.  The kids started school and the poor things, they came home so exhausted!

As announced yesterday, we have Paper Pretties joining us this week.  Paper Pretties is under new ownership here in the US.  Heather is offering a great prize package of 4 stamp sets from the Paper Pretties store: Wade E. Bug, One of those days, Look Out World Cooper and You're Maarvelous Sophia.  But she's also offering a coupon for all TMS readers that is good until the end of the month.  The code is tuesdaymorning - this is good for 10% off your order.

Today we have a different challenge.  You know that I always try to shake things up a bit and this week is the week for that.  No sketch - this time we're going to make a card that I just love!  It has so much potential, it can be a card or contain a gift.  This week we are making the Diagonal Double pocket card by following this tutorial on SCS.

Before we get to today's line up I just want to thank Heather for providing my team with some really fun images to play with.

Here we go...

First up, we have Theresa's beautiful card!  This girl paper pieced and hand cut everything!  And she used my favorite - sunflowers!  You really need to click on this card and look at all the details she put into this card, it is simply FABULOUS!!

This beauty was created by Beverly and in a word... AWESOME!  Wow!  I love the earthy feel of this card.

Here's Jessica's amazing card!  The colors are so vibrant, her coloring is fabulous and the paper she used is divine.  Love that medallion, too!  I'm sorry challengers, this card is not up for grabs when the Weekly Card Giveaway winner is announced.

This cutie was created by Angela.  Great color combo and perfect for baby.  And true to Angela's form, there is glitter.  Click on the photo to get the detail, but that sweet little lamb's star sparkles!

And here's my card.  Even though I decide on the challenges and sketches a month or two in advance, I was still working on my card last night at 10:00.  Way to put it off to the last minute.  So it was after my picture was taken that I realized that I didn't create a middle piece.  So we'll just say I did it on purpose for perhaps a gift card.  LOL!

Hollyanne is going to try to join us later.  But she really needed to get her head wrapped around starting school.

Now it's your turn.  Have fun with this... go all out.  Then come back here and share it with us (direct link to post) and leave us a comment.

  3. These are some of my favorite cards to make for invitations, because they have two tabs to hold all the information and it doesn't seem like it is just crowded in there. Way to go team these are great examples. I love them all.
