Tuesday Morning Sketches #102

Good Morning!  It's Tuesday - the sun is shining (somewhere), Doodle Pantry is sponsoring and there's a new challenge here at TMS.  It's going to be a great day!

Yep, as I said, we've got Laurie from Doodle Pantry back as a sponsor - she's one of our favorites!!  I just love her adorable images and Laurie is so sweet and so kind and very generous!  Did you see her last challenge?  Just for participating you get a whole digi set for free.  I'm still working on my card to play along.

Well, speaking of challenges, I think I have a fun one this week.

Create a Card with Detachable Bookmark

Everyone who knows me, knows that I am an avid reader.  My daughter is becoming one, too.  I am so proud!  So this challenge fits right in with us.  You can find some really great tutorials on this card style.  One here on SCS and then this one on You Tube are only a couple of them.

Now let's get to some amazing inspiration from my design team.  You will see magnetic, corner bookmarks that can be added with temporary adhesive to the inside of a card and then bookmarks like in these tutorials.  Be creative!  But be sure to show plenty of pictures so I can see how your card has a detachable bookmark.  This is a Judged Challenge, so really show off.

Angela (detachable flap)

Dawn (her bookmark slips into the pocket)

Jackie (love he notch in the front)

Jessica (her bookmark is magnetic)

Kathy (super cute corner bookmark)

Theresa (very elegant corner bookmark)

Stephanie (magnetic fold over bookmarks

Melissa (detachable with perforated line)

Now it's your turn!  Have fun with this challenge.  Be sure to drop by Doodle Pantry, too.  Laurie always offers freebies.  Jackie, Stephanie and Dawn used the new Quirky Alligator which is free for now and there are others.  And since you'll already be in her store, you might as well do a little shopping, digis are affordable and instant gratification.
