Good Morning!
Thank you for joining us for another sketch challenge - and this one is a challenge!! But first, I just realized that I forgot to announce the sponsor yesterday for this week's challenge. I think I was so wrapped up in trying to post a picture of the random generator thingy that I forgot. (Maxine - thank you for the tip. I'll give it a try next week.)
So this week's sponsor is The Pixie Cottage! Talk about adorable images! And do you get a lot of bang for your buck - their stamps are big which is nice for a quick card but are really nice for scrapbook pages which yields a bigger canvas. And here's what Michelle has offered for a prize:
and...
Here's the sketch we'll be working with today - and as I said, it is a challenge but I know you can do it!! Afterall, this is why we do them, to think outside the box and push ourselves in creativity and passion.
You may flip this, you may even see this sketch as just part of a card and go even further with it! It's up to you, just keep the basic elements of the sketch.
First up is Theresa and this is such a fabulous interpretation of the sketch - the color combo is great and her coloring is awesome! So darn cute!! He looks so sad, like he's separated from his bestest friend. He's telling her how he feels...
... And here she is returning the sentiment of how much she misses him. Here is Fabby Gabby's card and she did fabby for sure! You know what I think of when I look at this? I see this as the wonderful country art that is done on an embroidery hoop!
This is Joni's card and it's awesome. You'll have to visit her blog to see some other details to this card - it flips to reveal it's message! It's cool!! She colored this image perfectly!
Tammy used the sketch to create an adorable door hanger to add to her Fall decor. So very cute! I love the pumpkin behind the Scarecrow and how HOME is the horizontal element featured in the sketch.
And here's my card and I have to say I was really proud of this until I put in the line up with my team. I think my card pales in comparison! My team is fabulous and I am very blessed to have them. Like my card says, this is the season of blessing - the season of thanksgiving. I want to take a moment to thank my team for helping me every week and working so hard for my little blog. I appreciate each lady - they are amazing! I also want to thank Michelle for sharing her wonderful images with us. If you'd like, you can visit my blog to get the details on how I made this card.
Now it's your turn! I can't wait to see what you do with this sketch. Be sure to come back here and link it in Mr. Linky directly to your project. Leave comments, too, we love to hear from you.
Get out! These are all so incredible and wonderful! I can't even decide which is my favorite, the variety is so cool. The cows are so sweet missing each other, scarecrow is a darling, and your bear is toooo cute!! Wonderful job ladies!
