So the recipe is...
Soft Hues
Flowers
Ribbons
Easy, right? Let's see what the design team did with the recipe...
First up, we have Angela. She created this sweet card which could easily be a greeting for a friend or a baby card.
This super adorable card was created by Gabby and I love how she used ribbon flowers. The sentiment is wonderful, too.
This card is by Genetta, our April Guest Designer. A wonderful part of Spring is the rain and I think it was a great touch to have rain all over her card. Great card!
And here's another sweet card, this one from Jessica. The soft hues she used are so wonderful - love that paper and the quilted feel to her card.
Theresa designed this beautiful card. I love all the details she added... the stitching, the sweet butterfly and the muted (soft) hues in her paper.
Hollyanne, our Jr. DT member, created this adorable card using a stamp from CC Designs. I love the Pixies and just got the latest set of Spring Pixies. Didn't she do an amazing job with her coloring!?
And finally here is my card. I'm sorry for the photo, but Picasa was being difficult at automatically cutting off part of my picture. Urrrghh!! So I resorted to my old photo editing software, which really left a lot to be desired.
Now it's your turn. Go have some fun with this challenge and then come back here and link it up directly to your blog post or online gallery and leave us a comment. You may also go to each individual blog of the team to find how they created their beautiful cards. Can't wait to see your project!
Great recipe :D The Dt's work is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteFabulous creations by the DT!!
ReplyDeleteHi Melissa!
ReplyDeleteI loved the cards! Beautiful!
The projects have to be original?
I have two cards I used soft colors, ribbons and flowers.
They are similar, but in different formats.

ReplyDeleteI am a card maker too, but figured since I was in layout mode today I would use this challenge for that. Hope it's still okay that I share. It inspired me to scrap a photo that's been waiting to be done forever!!!

great challenge this week. All the entries look fabulous:)
ReplyDeleteWoW, those are some fabulous DT samples ... all so gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI got a little carried away with the Letterpress technique I used this week. It came out much darker than I expected ... so my 'soft hues' ended up not-so-soft. Hope that's okay?!?
Thanks for another fun challenge ... I'm always excited to see what you've got planned for us next!
