This week's challenge is....
HANDMADE FLOWERS
There are lots and lots of video tutorials on You Tube, Splitcoast Stampers and probably others that I didn't find and then there's got to be lots of picture tutorials on blogs. I want to see cards or projects using handmade flowers. So pull out those punches or set up your Cricuts, Big Shots and Cuttlebugs. Now to give you a bit of inspiration, let's see what the design team did....
Up first is this sweet card by Angela. She used the Rolled-Flower die by My Favorite Things and they look so super cute!
Here's Hollyanne's sweet card! She watched a couple of video tutorials and used the one on Splitcoast Stampers for a fan-fold flower.
Here's Jackie's super sweet - love the purple card!! I'm not sure if Jackie followed a tutorial or made her gorgeous flowers on her own - but they are awesome!
This beautiful circle card is from Jessica. Her rose is just stunning!! She said that she had so much fun making these roses, that she ended up making an entire paper rose garden!
This clean and simple and oh so elegant card is by Lisa. I love the blue contrast against the Kraft card stock and the glitter frame is perfect. Her roses are so pretty.
And this very striking card is from Theresa. I love the card and those roses are so elegant in cream and the pearl centers. Beautiful!!
And here's my card. I made a marigold. I was inspired by a video I found on You Tube by an amazing paper artist. You can find her blog here and her You Tube Channel here.
Alright papercrafters - it's your turn. I cannot wait to see what you do with this challenge. Please feel free to combine this challenge with another one. I did - I needed a sketch! LOL Be sure when you come back here, you link directly. Have fun!
DT work is lovely, thank you Debbiexx

ReplyDeleteentered a scrapbook page I made today.. since it says in your rules a card or project .. I figure that would qualify as a "project"? Hope so! Thanks so much!
